“I’m exhausted, trying to keep up with my exercise routine and following healthy eating. It seems impossible!”

That’s how one of my new client calls started the other day.

Breaking through that set point

We all have a set point. A point where our body seems to naturally want to settle in terms of our body composition and weight. Many mama’s come to me and they have returned to Boot Camp or Jogging and can’t understand why results are not happening and think their body is resistant to change.

And while genetics to contribute to this there are also certain strategies that are need to be considered when it comes to the female body

Why ?

As we were built for BIRTH. This means as females our bodies are very good at adapting to change, we also have a variety of hormone changes and a “wonder woman” pain threshold….

This also means the WAY you train during and after pregnancy needs to change and is not as simple as healthy eating and exercise.

Depletion is not the solution

This also does NOT mean depleting workouts and calorie deprivation is the way to achieve results. Instead, it means tapping into your energy levels and connecting with your body better on a daily basis with a variety of movement practices.

It also means giving yourself a “contract of no comparison” especially when it comes to recovery, fitness and nutrition during postpartum and motherhood.

You can not compare your progress to someone else because we are NEVER fully starting from the same place as every pregnancy is different, every birth different, every night’s sleep different, every baby is different etc. This means we all need a different success path !

And guess what…

You CAN change your set point, especially when you learn valuable strategies that will prepare you for a better birth, recovery, help prevent and heal Diastatis Recti, pelvic floor issues and discover how functional movement can energise you, and give you results without depletion. This combined with learning how to love simple, delicious food is a proven framework that will help you shift from traditional “conditional” beliefs about how you think your body should look and move.

I can’t wait for you to join me in the BFAB METHOD
